Let me answer your questions.

  • What amenities are in the village? There is a fabulous coffee and cake  shop directly below the apartment with indoor and outdoor seating. There is a bar on the other side of the piazza.  Visgnola also has a grocery store, 3 restaurants & a tobacconist.
  • Do I need a car? YES. I strongly suggest you arrive by car as the apartment is 2km uphill from the lake. If you love walking and don't mind hills, then a car isn't strictly necessary. However, public transport to and from the centre of Bellagio is extremely limited.
  • Is parking available? YES. There is free parking in the large village car park only 30 metres away.
  • How does check-in work? You may check in from 2.30 pm and there is no need to advise me of your arrival time. You will receive a video showing you where the key box is located and the code to open it.
  • Do you have a baby cot? YES, and a high chair.
  • Do you provide all bed linens and towels. YES. The apartment will be ready for you on arrival and all linens are professionally laundered.
  • Do you provide local information? YES.  You will receive a link to my comprehensive digital guide which you can download to your phone. In additon, there's also a wealth of leaflets about local attractions and a house manual in the apartment.
  • Are there any additional charges? Just one.  As everywhere in Italy, there is a small tourist tax to pay of €3 per person (over 11 years of age) per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights.
