I moved to Italy from Anglesey in North Wales in 2002. I could never have imagined I would do such a thing but when life took a sad turn I turned it into a happy one!

Casa Bellagina was my much-loved home for several years and this is what sets it apart from other rental properties.

When I moved to CASA FAGIOLINA near Rome, many home conforts remained and now I spend my own holidays at Casa Bellagina.

Visgnola is a village with real people going about their everyday lives. Guests love feeling a part of this authentic Italian life and frequently meet my friendly neighbours: Carlo, the 'Caruso' of Visgnola, Fabio who runs the bar, Piera at the pastry shop and so on.....By staying here you have an authentic combined experience: world famous Bellagio but also small village life.

Enjoy watching the comings and goings of that life from the balcony: the school bus passing by, Mamma going to get groceries at the local shop, workmen dropping in at the café before heading home for lunch, elderly ladies meeting for a morning coffee and chat... I love it!

I work in the the world of travel as a freelance tour leader. I am lucky to have travelled a lot in this amazing country. The diversity and beauty of Italy never cease to amaze me....but Bellagio is undoubtedly extra special. You will understand if you visit.

If I can help with any aspect of your trip to Italy please ask.

Sally
